Thanks!

Yet another use for Wisconsin Chrome (bumper repair tape)! That's thinking outside the box. I'm surprised it didn't snap.

O yes it snaped !! Several times!!!

It took some messing with to work it out!

Thanks

Dude, fantastic. I've thought about this from time to time but never delivered. I'm so glad to watch this innovative video.

Great idea! I use a lot of duct tape in my work and have found that I can increase it's tensil strength by folding it width-wise into 1/3rds (if that makes sense). It generally tears from an edge, but folded in on itself, it is three ply with the edges secured. You can also embed cordage in the folded tape for more strength. I use mason's twine (trotline) because that is what I usually have handy.

I found after several failed trys, if I just twist the set up that I had it works way better.
On the vid I took 2 full arms length strips and put them together, thin folded then in half. But there was some sticky areas that kept snagging. The twisting got rid of that issue. To attach to the bow I just split a green limb and put a knot and slid the tape in. ( I also wraped a pice of tape on the bow at the ends to keep the bow from splitting) Duct Tape is not the great for bow drill but it works !! One more GO for Duct Tape!!
THANKS!!
