Due to my failure

I recently posted about a giveaway and then promptly forgot about it. by the time I got back, thomas had decided that i had been kidding and had left. I can not let this pass. I understand the gross negligence on my part, and so here is a giveaway to redeem myself. I am a bit broke, and so this is the best I have. It is a skyline that I picked up at the sale and was subsequently used as an experimentation knife, as noted by the more often than normal sharpenings and the mirror finish. the information about the knife, like "made in USA", have been sanded off, as has the blem marker. this means that this knife has little resale value, and is only for work.

there are a couple of restrictions. 1. if you already have a skyline, you can't enter (that means you MP and 5.56 :D), with one exception. if you are a paying member or have over 200 posts, then you can name a person who you will give it to. obviously, they can't have a skyline either. 2. the only reason that I am giving this knife away was becuase it was sitting in a drawer doing nothing and being experimented on. if you plan on having ti sit in a drawer, then please do not enter. this is a wonder piece of art that needs to be used.

Never had a skyline, but I'd like to see how it compares to the new Persistence I picked up. I'm just starting to learn to whittle with a pocketknife, and if the liner is strong enough I will use it all the time, so count me in.
 
I am in. I need a new work knife, my whirlwind is at its end of its long use life(10 yrs?) and had to downgrade my CRKT first pro. run Ripple to work duty.

Thanks, the last thing I need is another Skyline. This morning I nearly tripped over a pile of Skylines on my way out the door. :p:D

In! Always wanted a Skyline but have never pulled the trigger even though it's such an affordable knife.
 
I am totally in on this, as this is just what I'm looking for (the price is right for sure), and thanks for the pics, this is the first time I've seen one closed :).
