Yeah, like THAT carries any weight around here! ;)

Honestly, though, this is a fantastic khukuri. I love 'em all, but this, the YCS and the GS truly stand out in my little group of khuks.

Congrats Bro, now you have your very own and no longer have to be jealous.:p :D

The H.I.Chitlangi is an epitome of a khukuri don't you think?
Along with all the others of course.;)

oh yes indeedy. With endorsements like these, you can put me down on the list for the next one in.

Really Beautiful blade Blues. I've longed for one since the first photo I saw on the forum.

Uncle Yoda, Whats the price tag on these bad boys. I would like one too.

The Dui Chiara Chitlangi is wworth sacrificeing something for.:D

Mine sets right beside my computer desk just waiting. And it would be the one I would pick if I heard something go bump in the night that I wanted to investigate.:)

Got a camping trip my 14" Villager is chomping for, but my sirupati is waiting for a bump in the night. Sulky little monster.

Gunmaker - nice avatar: Sugarloaf grest helm with brass cross, right?

Incidentally, I gotta get to Reno for that CCW class. I'd have no trouble at all grabbing a pistol, any pistol, and shooting a deserving blankety-blank. I might have trouble stopping before I emptied all the magazines on hand, but that's a whole 'nother story.

But which khukuri to use? Appropriate in what way?
Would the khuk's use on a ***** dishonor it? Ah nuts - hand me the big battleaxe instead - yeah, the one with the 12" edge.

I also received a Dui Chirra Chitlangi and it has become my favorite khukuri.

The blade is very light and it takes practically no effort to swing. This model would make an outstanding weapon.

The workmanship is outstanding. The double fullers are even and smooth, matching perfectly on both sides of the blade. The sword of shiva with copper?/brass? inlays is simply beautiful.

The handle is a bit slimmer than those on the other HI khukuris that I have handled. This would be perfect for someone with small hands. The buttcap is formed from hammered brass and shows quite a bit of skill in its manufacture.

The karda and chakma are larger than usual and well done.

The tooled leather scabbard is also first rate.

If you are thinking of getting one of these, do it. You won't be sorry.

Don't worry. I found a picture of it by successfully performing the search function.;) That is an awesome blade. 21" overall? What is the weight on it?

Yvsa Bro read me the Khukuri Act on this one. I think I might just have to make some more room.
