When I first saw a Dui Chirra on here right away I thought it had to be IMHO one of the best looking Kuks going .

In fact the custom that I had MS Jason Knight was based on a two fuller blade the Dui Chirra

well i missed one on the deal of the day but yangdu had anothe and it arrived today.

It is a fantastic blade and will be my new user . it feels really great lighter than my M 40 but still alot of power with great looks

I gave it a quick sharpening and a patina job and this one is ready to go

By thy way this one is a hidden tang and feels very good balance wise

sorry about quick pic with the Blackberry

Good picture, thank you for sharing

Nice Dui Chirra there J. I also like the look of this khukuri but was originally put off by its size. Now I think that a 20" would be doable and with a hidden tang like yours. If you get a chance, and if you wouldn't mind, could you spec yours a little more for us, ie: spine, weight and kami. I'd like to see what the newer kamis can do with fullers although my guess is that yours was made by Vim.

Anyway, thanks for your report. It looks like a sweet blade that will do some work. Enjoy!!

18", 25 oz. and a nice spine to go with it...Oh that is nice!! My kind of blade. Your hidden tang looks peened over unlike the original style. Do your fullers come all the way back to the bolster? Its just a little hard to see with the patina.

Joe that is one of the H.I. blades I have yet to pick up.

That Blackberry takes pretty good pics for a phone.

Stikfred the fullers run to about the notch and then fade to the bolster

wildmike not bad for a phone but not great .

great khukuri used it today to break up a wooden ladder stand some one should not have put on my property went thru the rungs one shot the side 2 X 4 just a few shots .

For a fairly light and agile Kuk it has alot of power ,

Appreciate the response J. That sounds like a khuk after my own heart. It's good to see that they aren't all chiruwa handled. I'm glad that you're enjoying it. For a phone the pics aren't bad.
