dull cuda maxx tip with the dagger style blade

who else has has a cuda maxx dagger style blade. that is not sharp at the tip. and all i have to fix it is the sharpmaker. about 2 inches back from the tip just wont get sharp. is this normal? do i send it in .. will camillus sharpen it for free?

Do you, by any chance, carry loose change in the same pocket in which you carry your CUDA MAXX? I noticed the other day that a couple of coins had become wedged between the scales down by the tip on my bowie style MAXX and had dulled the edge a bit where it had hit them when I closed it. I usually carry coins in a change purse,so I have no idea how this happened, but it did. In my case, a few passes over the fine hones on my SharpMaster fixed the problem of the edge and it took a bit of prying to get the coins out, but everything is fine now.
