dull khukri

ihave avery dull knife that i bought at a pawn shop. the knife is so dull that it would not cut hot butter. anyway to speed up the process?

Get a good quality mill bastard file, and file the edge sharp.

I have handled some of the cheaper khukuris and they can be difficult to get very sharp because the edge won't form clean. As a first step I would set the edge with a file as Bill noted and then clean it up with a x-coarse/fine stone.
