Dumb Cryo question

I just picked up a Cryo today. I really nice knife for the money. My question is, has anyone had a problem with the knife accidentally opening in their pocket. I'm I just being paranoid? I think I'm going to order the Cryo II soon.

I have yet to have my cryo open up on me, and I have been carrying it on and off for a year exact on christmas day. If I am not mistaken the cryo has a detent, and the torsion bar that makes the knife assisted seems to also have a bit of a "detent" to get past before it flicks open.

I own a Cryo I. I've carried it in my front pocket and watch pocket and have never had an accidental deployment. I suppose though if you managed to lean on the flipper tab hard enough it could open up. By the way I've never heard of that happening with any assisted knife.

I've never had an accidental deployment with the Cryo, but I also carry tip up and against the seam of my front pocket.

My Cryo has never opened when I didn't want it to.

The detent is very decent on the cryo, have been on many physical/vertical hikes with it and it didn't deploy in the pocket

If anything, my Cryo is hard to open. I don't think it would ever accidentally open

I think proper tip up carry with the blade resting/facing the seam of the pocket would prevent any opening issues.

Thats what I was thinking
- As others have mentioned, if you have a tip up knife against the seam of your pocket, there is virtually no way for it to open since there is no where for the blade to go.

With tip down carry, if you reach into your pocket to get something (like keys), and pull your hand out, it's easy to get cut. That's how I was spiked by my Benchmade Aphid. It opened slightly in my pocket. When I reached in to grab my car keys and took my hand out, it get spiked by the blade.

Never had a folder open in my pocket. Again, as mentioned before, if clipped in pocket, tip up, against the side seam of your pants this should be a non-issue as there's no room for the blade to open. I keep mine in front right hand pocket.

Never had an issue with my Cryo. If you are scared it might open you can put it your watch pocket next to the seam so it won't open. Or same thing in tip up configuration in front right pocket, etc. Or you can just remove the spring assist in it and use it as a normal folder.

If you carry the knife with the spine of the blade against the back of your pocket, it can't open.

Don't believe me? Put it in your pocket and try to open it. Push on the flipper and the blade isn't going anywhere.
