Poor man's glaive/naginata. :poop: It would be easy as pie to make. Obviously nowhere near as durable as a real deep tanged weapon but it should handle water bottles no problem. $100 for the knife and $50 for a quality staff so I'd wager it would be safer than an equivalently priced polearm lol!

I'll see if I can get my hands on a #13 this summer. As of now I'm waiting on #9,#10,#12 in the mail to modify. You really cannot beat that price to quality ratio so its a great way to make a personalized gift. I'm going to try my hand at pyrography on the handles and I'm looking into acid etching the blades. I got inox. Feel free to post your opinel mods too!

Is your suggestion in regards to good items to modify? I was considering one of their tomahawks last year but I got a crkt instead.

If you're talking about their polearms it looks like they stopped selling them on their site. I would be wary of the quality of their shafts as well.
