Duncan Whiplash or LightFoot Supressor...

I'm having trouble deciding on which one of these to get. Anyone have either or both.

Better yet, I'm not sure if I want the regular sized Whiplash or the Mid Size version.

Anyone have a pic of all three together?

Both designs are pretty similar and pretty nice. Both have awesome reputations...

Opinions...pics...Anything info would be appreciated.

I've heard it doesn't matter and that bad service runs in the family.
Do a search for "Duncan" in Good Bad & Ugly forum too.

On the other hand, I have a Lightfoot Max Velocity and LOVE it! He makes one tough knife.

I just said that's what I heard (in private). I'm not going to get carried away since I can't back-up or support with names and examples. Besides, ya never know, unless you have both sides of the story.

As one of the keywords use "asswhole" [spell it correctly of course:D ]

Also with the Lightfoot, the resale value is much better if you don't like it.
 
I've owned several Lightfoot knives and all were very precise and high quality. I've owned 3 Duncan knives and 2 had fit\finish issues that were unacceptable on knives of their price. I've also heard of similar issues over the years, and of Duncan's inability to make things right. Definatly go Lightfoot.

I just got my Lightfoot...and all I can say is Holy SH!t.....This thing rocks! The knife is perfect in every way. Fit and finish are outstanding. I will get some pics up over the weekend.

I can understand why everyone except like 2 people on here and USN said get the Lightfoot. It's obvious. I will definetly be getting some more by this maker in the future.

I appreciate everyones help in making a choice which I realize now, was the right one. I was gonna get the Duncan, then I thought, "Let me ask around and see what other knife guys think."

I'm glad I did.
