Does anyone know about Dunn Knives made by Steve Green out of Kansas? I saw him at a show a few years back and they seemed to be well made knives. He only uses S60V and they are hand hollow ground. I am looking for a small skinner/pelt knife. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them? You can look at the web site at www.dunnknives.com Thanks!

Cabela's in Kansas City stocks them occasionally. I've handled them and they are both comfortable and scary-sharp. The staff told me that buyers really like them. They also told me that Dunn is a cantankerous man and to not take anything he says personally if ordering from him directly, and that waiting for your order is like waiting for the cable repairman, e.g sometime between July and December.

I have one of his knives and it is good quality. I do not know if he has run out of his reserve S60V that he bought when Crucible announced that they would no longer make it. He told me that he was looking at another steel to go to that is very close to the S60V.
