I was wondering how durable and easy to sharpen this kind of blade is? To see what I'm talking about just google "Tighe Twist Dagger - 3D Machined" Since I don't think direct linking there would be ok...?

And thanks to this forum's help I did finally decide on a new edc....maybe it'll be here this week.

I've got a Kershaw Zing which has a similar "scalloped" blade:

The actual edge is not cut like the face of the blade, and I don't notice it being any harder to sharpen than any other knife in my collection.

I was thinking that the horizontal design might pose a problem because it seems like each layer is higher than the next, which might make it hard to get the right angle? I haven't seen it in person so I'm not sure how extreme of a relief it is.

The Zing is pretty cool too, and a lot more affordable ;)
