Duracoat durability

I'm looking to do a coated blade(s) and was wondering about the wear resistance of the Duracoat.

I'm famaliar with the Gun Kote product line and it really seems to be the favoured finish (of the 'at home' spray on finishes) when it comes to wear resistance and is excellent for parts with close tolerances (i.e. guns) but the process seems to be a bit much as compared to the duracoat. Plus the cost of the Gun Kote + associated equipment is considerably more than the Duracoat EZ Finishing Kit.

If the finish is some what compareable to Gun Kote, as far as wear, then it seems to be the finish for me.

I've done some searching on the web and asked this question on here once before and didn't receive any info. i am very interested to try it, but haven't had the time, or the right project to experiment with it, i still want to try though, lauer seems to think pretty highly of it so hopefully it's actually that good, let me/us know if you try it, how it works.
