Duracoating blades with a hvlp gun?

Hey guys i was just wondering if any of you have experience with duracoating blades with a hvlp gun?, do you have to cut the duracoat with thinner or how many coats to put on and how it sprays out of the gun, just wondering how the wear resistance comes out after hard blade use and such... any comments related to duracoat appriciated thanks, Wes--

Duracoat and "spray & bake" finishes will all wear with use, no way you can get around it. Everything will wear with regular use (what does "hard use" really mean?)

If you want a coating that will wear better, consider hard chrome, but that will eventually scratch as well.

Personally, I tend to respect well-used tools and their owners as opposed to something that looks pristine & unused.
