Hi Everyone,

i have a white rodent ruckie that I hate the color/look of. Originally I was thinking of having it stripped but it would never look like a satin one from rodent/busse. Then I thought maybe have a duracoat put on it. What are your thoughts. Any other suggestions? and Whom would you suggest to do it. I am kinda thinking some sort of tiger stripe (maybe strider style) but am open to anything. If you have pics of stuff done please post.

Thanks,

Peter

I have a stripped AK, original Ruck, and a satin set. the Rucki might look different under the coating, but it should give you an idea. ill try to get pics later.

Ghetto satin is nice, and if it's going to be a beater, it don't have to look pretty :D

Had various pistols done. All havw worn great for years. I sent mine to a place in Tennesse.

Dura caoting is a great product i use it on many of my rifles doesnt rust ,hard to scrach off,Take 7 week to totally cure but its worth it,,as for your Rucki,,you might want to do a trade with another,I like and have the white with black canvas handle and have black blade with tan handle, trading it for another color it will slowly increase in value,,, when modifying Busse blade may decrease their value,if your going to use it then go for it,Dura-coat has many new products, and you really can do any thing with the choices they give ya,,What ever you do enjoy you blade

Respect

Have you considered trading it for another color with someone on the exchange? Many people like the white (in fact, I have one on the way as we speak).

The solution to your problem just requires some elbow grease and a lot of wood, just beat the white off her!
