Duracoats?

I bought a knife with a steel that rusts quickly and im getting tired of taking rust off the blade. Does anyone know any good places to get your knives duracoated?

What's the knife? Generally, carbon blades are fine if you'll keep them dry (or lightly oiled). It also helps to let a natural patina build up.

I'd duracoat myself. You can buy kits with air for relatively cheap.

Have you tried applying a good car polish now and then?

It's a cold steel gurka kukri with sk5 steel (the Japanese equivalent to American 1080)
