I just got back from a trip to the mail box where I had one of those long skinny packages waiting for me :)

Upon opening it, I found a beautiful 15" AK made by Durba inside. This is my first AK, as well as my first Durba :D . The fit and finish on the rig is great... It is a blem, but as usual, you wouldn't notice it (a small fold near the tip) if you weren't looking for it. A great deal... especially as this was a gift!!!

This AK came with a sheath by the new village sarki, which has a plain finish (no tooling). To tell you the truth, I think I prefer this sheath over al the other ones I have. It is a perfect fit, with now wood contact "sound" when you draw or re-sheath the khuk. I love it.

The C and K are small compared to others I've had, but could be put to use if needed.

The ONLY thing I could find wrong with this AK is the handle is just a tad short for my hand.... probably by about 1/4" . If I choke up on the handle and not go by the rings, it's fine. If not, I'll feel it as soon as I swing... but by all means no biggie.

The horn handle is even nicely done, with now gaps/seperations at the buttcap! Durba did a great job on this AK... now I know why he is so popular!
