These last five months have been a whirl wind at Diomedes Industries with our partnership with Fiddleback Outpst. The love is not stopping and I continue to ramp up production, get new tools in to make the process faster and better, and try to keep up with all of the awesomeness Andy and his crew continue to pump out. With the addition of new makers to the Fiddleback Outpost Stable (W.A Surls, Osprey Knife and Tool, and more) I am certain this is just the tip of the iceburg.

A huge thank you to all the Fiddleheads on this forum who allow me to make sheaths for amazing knives possible. I wish you all the best Thanksgiving possible and may your knife like dreams come true in the holiday season.

Congratulations Jason. I'm sporting one of my five sheaths you made, as I write this. I have a new request coming soon having to do with a Kiridashi and trail hand. May your hands stay busy for a long time to come..

Congrats Jason! I'm sporting my Earl now as I write...and I am really looking forward to the dragon scale sheath. I know I will be needing to pick up more of them over time. I need ten in different styles and colors, at least, for the project I am doing, but most will have to wait till after the first of the year...

Good for you, Jason. You do great work and deserve all the success that you are experiencing.

Big congratulations, and thank you. I love your work....

That looks great in your pocket brother. I love how the scales blend with the blue jeans. Muggle friendly.

DANG! I was busted making an assumption! I have never seen her in pictures and so made an ass out of myself. ;)

This makes it even more awesome. Sorry for the mistake, Pertinux!

Thanks for the correction, Vance.

Yeah, as far as I know it was only brought up in response to Andy saying he liked seeing his knives in lady's hands, and Pertinux responded with a pic and the words that she usually says she ain't no lady but...That was where I caught on :)

Jason, no worries, at all!

I read Bladeforums for a while before joining and, noting the predominately male membership base and the dynamics thereof, chose a 'neutral' username when I joined so that I could start talking about knives and glean from others without drawing attention to myself: "Look! A GURL!!" (I've seen this happen.) Even when meant with good intention, it can change discussion dynamics from the get-go.

I've almost never used my real name on the forums, but others have, and I've now met members in person at Great Eastern Cutlery's events, etc. So, it's sort of a 'known' thing, now, here and there...? But it's not something I expect anyone else to know! It's kinda sweet/funny when well-meaning members jump someone's pronouns on my behalf (this, too, has been known to happen :D), but it's not something that bothers me. :)

Sheesh, enough about me, here! :o Short answer: No need to fret or apologize, I enjoy all the banter and don't get hung up on pronouns.

Back to the point of this thread: I love your work, and how well it suits my knives. Really fantastic stuff!

When I say I look forward to adding more knives so I can justify adding more leather, I'm not sure I'm joking....

The Esquire/Baron combination is a clear favorite, for every good reason-- and you're right, the blue knife blends well! ;)

This is today's winning combination, my Oreo Stubby Muk in a Reaper:

(Full disclosure: the Stubby Muk is in my pocket as shown, my Esquire is in a cross-draw sheath on my belt....)

Yeah: Awesome.

Pertinux,

I had checked out your Instahgram too - but never made the connection. I checked again - yeah - it was the "In the hospital with the new baby" pic that should have tipped me off. SHEESH!

I aint too quick.

Jason

p.s. That Stubby looks awesome.
