dust collection hook-ups

The only thing I have found that looks like it would be a good pick-up unit for my sanders is a simple heating duct boot at Home Depot.

Is this what you guys use, or has anybody found/made something better???

For the ducting, use 4" pvc.

Don't use pvc, static explosions in wood dust and fire and or fumes from steel dust will result. Do a search here for the dangers of pvc.
