Dust Collection ?

I was wondering if the Cyclone kits that you can add to a 30 gal trash can work? I have a 650 CFM collector. It does good on my grinder that are close to it, but on my wood bandsaw it doesn't suck enough saw dust. I was wondering if anybody has added one of the kits to a existing setup, and if it worked?

I have one of the cyclon kits that you can add to a trash can, except my dust collector makes enough suction and collapse a trash can so I use a 30gallon fiber drum instead, works great, it catches about 95% of stuff.
