In my ongoing journey towards fixed blade perfection, this is the best knife I have owned yet. It literally brings a smile to my face when I put my belt on every morning.

It goes well with a GEC #18 in African blackwood.

The kydex is not the best carry for that knife, Matt!

Get Paul Long to make you a nice pair of leather pants for it....tell him STevie sent you!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Only problem... I carry inverted and there's something reassuring about the clack of kydex.

I love that style of clip point in a knife. The only knives with the penetration power of a clip point like that are the Buck 119 and Emerson Sheepdog. I absolutely hate when a knife is given a bad clip point. I have been thinking about giving my Cattaraugus 225Q a clip point like that with a handle like the randall model 14 attack (with black micarta w/grooves for fingers and lanyard pin hole). Maybe use a jig of some sort to give the back of the spine saw teeth as well and cerakote the blade... Still don't have my mind made up yet.

Ended up passing this on to someone else who could appreciate it more. Just wasn't getting carried.
