Dutch Oven peach cobbler

pm Brian Andrews he's got a good one - I even ate it - its good!

Super Easy and tasty, but not not at all from scratch. One box of cake mix (white or yellow or my favs, but use whatever you like...spice cake is nice too) a can of 7-Up or similar soda, and can or two peaches. Pour the canned peaches into the dutch oven, dump the cake mix over the top, and then pour the can of soda over that. Put it on the coals, put a few on top....you will be drooling from the smell in no time. just watch it, when the cake mix looks golden brown, it's done. :)

1 box yellow cake mix
2 29-oz cans sliced peaches
1/2 C tapioca
8 oz can crushed pineapple
1 C brown sugar
1 stick butter

Put peaches with juice/syrup in dutch oven, mix in pineapple with juice and tapioca. Top with dry cake mix, do not stir into the fruit. Sprinkle brown sugar on top, and cut the stick of butter into pats and spread over the top. Bake like normal cobbler with top and bottom heat.

With high sugar foods like this, I like to line the dutch oven with aluminum foil to make cleanup easier.

Just a suggestion, before you start ANYTHING be sure to line the DO with aluminum foil to keep the stickies away from the sidesand makes cleaning very easy.
Opps didn't read all the way down on the above reply.

cobbler is REALLY easy. I do what C bryant does, but not even with 7up. I like brown sugar too.
