Most of you have probably at least read about the Dutch army knives. Since 1983 many of them were made by Victorinox and were military versions of the Soldier, Pioneer, Centurion and the Dual Pro.
This week I found some info on a Dutch trading site about a Victorinox knife which, according to the seller, is issued to airforce pilots as part of their survival equipment. I have found the NSN number on www.iso-group.com, but haven't found proof yet that it really is issued to Dutch pilots. The knife is a Handyman with black scales and the text "M. v. D." which is "Ministerie van Defensie" (department of defense).
