On the catalog page of the Bussecollector website, which is such a valuable resource, especially to a newbie hog like myself, there is a listing for an AD E below the AD entry. The only apparent difference seems to be in price and production year, any other differences?

Thanks.

I wonder if his E designation just relates to the era of offering.

Otherwise, the biggest difference would be thicnkess.
IIRC, the original ADs were around .150" +/-, the later HD's were around .200", and the latest run of ADs are also around .200".

I've only owned three of the originals and they were all pretty much at .150".

These are the only differences I've noticed.

E usually means Ergo, but I'm not sure that relates to AD's

E as in Ergo has no relation other than what Strabs surmises below. Greg may be indicating the era rather than the handle type as E/Ergo normally does.

Thanks all for the advice. Whether .15 or .2 the AD looks like a great knife and a great user. Just picked one up on the exchange. :D
