Anyone know anything about a maker named Larry Duvall from Gallatin, Missouri? Still making, retired, deceased? Any relation to Jeff Duvall from Arkansas? His knives seem to be of exceptional quality and I was curious as to when he was most active. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 1984 Guild Directory has himlisted and says he started making 6 years previous as a hobby. I remember visiting with him at the Guild show in KC in 1985. He was making some nice lockback folders at that time. Book says he used 440C and D2 for blade steel. He prefers micarta and used oily woods for their beauty. His options were file work, engraving andinlays. he attended 4 shows a year and his delivery time was 4 months. "I enjoy the final polishing and handle work because the real beauty of the finished product begins to surface at this point." I visited because I was raised in that general area. No idea if what his situation is now. Last lising is in 2005 Annual.Mike
