DVD to iPod? Need some help.

Hey guys, I've been wanting to copy some of my movies to a format my ipod touch will play. What is available that will do this?

I use iPodMe to convert .avi's. I imagine if you use DVD Decrypter to rip DVD's to your hard drive, you could use it to convert those as well.

I use a program called Handbrake to rip the files from DVDs (www.handbrake.fr).

It requires a separate decrypting program ... DVD43 (www.dvd43.com) is very simple and works automatically.

Handbrake is a good tool for this. As is DVD43, both of which are free.

If you're looking for a decrypter beyond DVD43 which doesn't have as many keys, look into a subscription to AnyDVD

I use Cucusoft ipod video converter
Very easy pretty much one touch play.

I use dvd shrink to rip the dvd and nero premium to convert to ipod format

I use PQDVD.

Use DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD and Red Kawa's Videora Ipod Converter to convert the file. Both are freeware and widely available. It is what I use and Have never had a problem.

I use WinAVI to convert files for use on the iPod. It's fast and very clean. I have a "cracked" full version if you want a copy.
