Here is a photo of the, just received, complete DVD Set from the BCCI 25th Anniversary celebration held in the Spokane Valley, Washington & Idaho, last Summer (available from BCCI for BCCI members).

Question? Is that Larry Oden singing along and playing the harmonica to Craig's photography seminar? What a treat if it is! :) :) :)

Good production quality. Break out the popcorn and let the good times roll!

Here is the letter accompanying the DVDs and a close up photo of the excellent seminars (I missed most of them so I have some catching up to do, Downton Abbey wait your turn):

Meet and greet.

Disk A: Meet the legends, employees, craftsman and collectors.

Seminars.

Disk B: The six seminar DVDs are actually Buck's college level education for collectors/advanced enthusiasts presented by erudite Buck cognizanti in spellbinding clarity and rich detail. Eye opening facts, dates, models, personalities, processes and obscure mysteries revealed. You will see the rarest of the rare knives and be made weak in the knees by what you behold. Fail to watch these seminars, at least twice each, and you will be at a distinct disadvantage knowledge-wise compare to informed collectors. Get the history of the early days told to you by a master craftsman and collector. See models and hear stories not available elsewhere. Do you want inside information? This is that. Don't miss any of it. Uh uh. Don't.

Disk C: Craig's collecting tips are invaluable. Are your blank, ready to be filled in, archive sheets available for download to excel on the BCCI site? David Yellowhorse talks about his life and work from childhood to the present while you see a terrific cross section of his beautiful work. He used his Buck 112 so much the wood inlay came loose and his repair became the first knife he transformed and people really liked it and this repair led to his present lofty position.

Note: It will take me many days to watch all the valuable footage on all disks so more summation to follow.

O., Thanks for reminder, have written it down....300

I'm a "don't bee" in Craig's class on organizing, cataloging and recording so I thought I would show you what looking for one particular knife looks like when you think that it might be in your miscellaneous drawer (note the photo contains knife stuff only so you, fortunately for you, aren't seeing the other contents, but on the other hand this is the worst of my cutlery organization skills).

My DVD's were waiting on me when I got home….and so was my BCCI newsletter and Buck catalogues.

Hoping to start watching the first DVD tonight.
