Dye Case Red Delrin

This is the right subforum to discuss dyeing handles.

I have only tried dyeing bone handles with various levels of success, never Delrin. You should probably just give it a try if you don't like the red.

RIT or Fiebing products might work. RIT is intended for cloth, Fiebing for leather.

RIT has a product intended for synthetic clothes, which may do a better job on plastic. "DyeMore for Synthetics."

Well, I ended up using black Fiebing's. It reminded me of "water on a ducks back". It wiped right off with zero residue.
Makes me wonder if it is some other type of synthetic material... I have seen it listed as synthetic and Delrin synthetic.

Now use the Rit dye. It works.
