Dye/Paint/Wrap Kydex

I recently purchased a Hinderer Fieldtac with a sheath. Love the knife but hate the color of the sheath. Can kydex be dyed or painted? I’m also thinking of wrapping it vinyl but don’t want it to look cheap. Any suggestions besides buying a new sheath?

Spray paint specifically formulated for plastic. If you do a Google search for "painting kydex" you'll find plenty of reading and some Youtube videos.
