Dyed Micarta

Not willing to leave well enough alone, I wanted my Micarta darker. The tan RMD had been darkend before but had faded. And the RS need to be more black. Thanks to Rainwalker's tip, I tried Fiebing's professional oil dye in light brown and USMC Black. I like the results so far. There was some bleeding under the masking tape and it was just a pain to mask ,so I got a little sloppy.

Those rats definitely have a unique look to them. I had been intrigued since reading Rainwalker's thread about dyeing micarta, but the more I look, the more I like. Great work!:thumbup:
