  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I used Fiebings leather Dye, USMC Black. I did my BK2 as well. We'll have to see how it lasts, there was a little color transfer, but after letting it dry and rubbing it with some alcohol, there was less and the color stayed.

That looks like it came out great! I love black micarta but I don't think too many people do. :)

Let us know how it holds up.

It looks great. It actually looks darker than the black micarta I have from Saint Cutlery.

Thanks, I'll see if I can get some decent pics of the 11 and 2 in the outdoors and better light.

Your going to want to apply a top coat of some sort over leather dye or you will get some transfer. The pro oil dye will get it as black as you can get.
