First of all so sorry no pics,I'm a techno-neanderthal .
I finally broke down and dyed (RIT powder)my g10 on the spyderco para2 20cp ,I dyed it black ,I know that doesn't sound real original but I tried red first and I didn't let the water get hot enough ,so the dye job came out like s@#$ ,then I got the black dye, boiled till all crystals dissolved then let it soak for about 30 min.
It came out great ,charcoal gray with a satiny effect(due to the original grey color) ,this was the effect that I had hoped would turn out, kinda got lucky, anyhow just thought I would let you guys know that it can be done with pretty good results.
