Dyeing Giraffe Bone

What is the best way to dye this bone?
Should I add the dye to the stabilizing agent or dye the bone first?

Good question, but where the hell did you find the giraffe bone?

I found a taxidermist who had four leg bones and am in the process of buying them from him. They are certainly not cheap but make beautiful handle material. I may be selling some of the bone after I get it in as four leg bones will make an awful lot of handle material.
