Dyeing my PM2

I am not THAT into digicam but I have wanted a PM2 for a very long time and when I was at the knife store yesterday and saw it I couldn't leave without it. All they had was digicam but I said screw it, ring me up.

So I was wondering, I really would like to dye the G10 with some black RIT or something similiar, is this doable? I actually think it would look kind of cool if you could still see the digicam pattern but everything was dyed to a more black and grey color set. Has anyone done this or something similiar? Is is easy to take the G10 off and put everything back together? I know some Benchmade knives are a nightmare to reassemble. Would RIT work or do I need something stronger?

Thanks in advance. I tried searching if this topic had come up before but nothing turned up (tried 'dye pm2' 'dyed Paramilitary2' etc. etc.) so I am humbly asking ya'll. Other than the digicam, I am loving this knife so far. Definitely in a category of it's own.

Now I am torn!! I was going to be happy with black but that red looks really cool and blue would also be rad! Even orange might be cool...argh!
