DYI knife displays, holders, plaques?

have you ever made your own knife displays, holders or plaques? do you have any ideas for how it can be done, and what to use?

I put up pegboard on my wall after seeing a similar setup in a thread around here. I have almost 40 knives hanging on there, mostly Spyderco, since hanging a knife by the hole takes up less space than draping them by a lanyard.

I made a few shadowboxes with wood and Plexiglas. They work very well.

cant figure out how to get them off my phone, but basically theyre just boxes about 3" deep, wood, plexiglas shelves, appx. 13" square, with a door riding on 2 hinges, framed with more wood, plexiglas window. Used sawtooth hangers and smallish nails to hang on the wall. Pretty simple, any more questions and I'll be glad to help.
