Just saw a post on Fletcher Knives forum about all the knives he is gonna have at the Blade Show. He hasn't backed it up with any pics yet.:jerkit:

Come on Andy, you can't let that youngster beat you! What are you bringing to Blade?:)

I'll have 30 or more knives, and as many machete's as I can set aside too. I've got hats coming, and 4 shirts, two for guys, two for girls.

It's not a competition. I'm not trying to out-do Andy. I'm sure his table is still going to be cooler than mine. His will at least have higher quality knives on it, I know that much. ;)

And I'm sure that he will have a few supprises or tricks up his sleaves. ;) He's a crafty one.

You guys can't imagine how excited Dylan and I are about this Blade Show thing. Its what we talk about every day. And for Dylan, this is his very first year as a tableholder, which is prestigious, IMO, and very exciting in and of itself. Additionally, this year we're both really going to try to do the whole thing first class. As well as we possibly can. We're building table displays. We're both bringing several apparrel options. The knives on both tables are going to be very nice cutlery. We got two tables side by side, the last two tables on the row, meaning there is plenty of space for our friends to hang out and not block traffic. The show itself is going to be about us putting our best foot forward.

In addition to this, we plan to party that pit down to its nub, I can promise you that. And we're both really excited about this as well. We both have rooms at the Renaisance. As I always do, I'll be rolling my ice chest down to the pitt, and hovering around it all night, sharing beers with our friends. This is where my Cajun heritage gives me an advantage over most of you lightweights. On Saturday we will be dining at Fogo De Chao's with as many of y'all, our friends and valued customers as we can convince to come with us. We know its expensive, but in our opinion, it really makes the show to have a DAMN FINE dinner in your belly when we start the victuals at the pitt again on Saturday.

We as knifemakers don't get to do a lot of hanging out with adults. Our work is lonely and loud, and brutally hard. So we plan to offset this work with hard playing at Blade Show, and plan to make it count.

(As a side note, I need a table helper at the show. I need to be able to work and see the room as well as having my table staffed by someone that knows my knives. If anyone is interested in working half the open hours of the show with me, I will buy their plate at Fogo's for the favor. And of course, I'll get you a pass, which will allow you in early when the good knives are still on tables at Blade Show! Please PM me if you're game.)

Now, since I am affronted by Dylan out bragging me, how about some pictures of slated knives?!

This seems like as good a tread as any to say, I think you and Dylan are two of the best out there. I love your knives, but most importantly, I love the great attitude you two bring to the industry. When times improve on a personal level, I look forward to owning multiple knives from both of you.

I give this post an A+. I like your attitude!

We will. I'm bringing my wife to help me make good choices. And I'm not driving.

I can't wait for Blade this year. I'm taking off work Friday and I've got moolah set aside already for my first Fiddleback. Or two.

I would like to help but I do not know anything about Fiddleback or Fletcher knives.I have read all the posts but I will need a sample of all the knives to take home to study ,with the names of all of them.I cannot promise that any of the knives will still be there when you get back to your table but I will have a good time at the show.
Thanks,
Michael

Thanks bro!

You two dress proper and mind your manners, you hear?

:):):)

Proper?... Manners?.... Anybody know what the hell this guy is talking about? Like Andy, I'm bringing my wife, but not to help me make good decisions. She's more of a party animal than me and helps me choose which things to light on fire. :D
