I bought a Hatchula back in Dec. '10. im not a collector, the blades I have(SAK, Hatchula, GB Hunters Axe) are used almost daily in my job as a primitive/survival skills instructor. My hatchula developed a few cracks in the micarta after 15 months or so of heavy use. I emailed Dylan, let him know about how I tend to be tough on my tools and he told me to send it in.
Yesterday it arrived, a brand new Hatchula! I checked in with Dylan to be sure he sent me the right knife. He quoted his guarantee "repair or replace if necessary"
I was already sold on the Hatchula design and now with his stellar guarantee Im even more impressed. No run around about how I used the knife, no questioning as to who's responsibility it is to fix it and prompt responses to my emails. Just a damn fine business ethic.
Thanks Dylan
