Spent some time yesterday splitting some small logs for an upcoming camping trip, and the new SFNO and SAR5 saw some batoning time. Pics follow with apologies to Bravado.

Beautiful combo, it must be hard to set them down.

Thanks for sharing

That last photo has me thinking how sexy a black paper SAR5 woulda been.

Here's how I like the black canvas. After the oil has worn a bit from handling, I think it has the best look.

Great pics :thumbup: Excellent combo. How do you like the new SAR?

Excellent bushcraft blade. I know the thick slabs might not be for everyone, but I really like them. They give you a great sense of control over the blade. I did some batoning with the SAR5 as well. The no-choil design does give you more blade edge to work with if you're batoning small limbs.

There's a matching chopper too.

Good Thread. :thumbup:

But ... I kinda thought this was going to be about Jerry and Garth. :o

You know ... two large, sweaty guys grinding away at INFI blanks like crazy ...

Never mind. :foot::barf::foot:

Do you think Garth sometimes wishes he were Batman?

Great pics Guyon!

I also think the black canvas slabs look much better when darkened by oil from hand.

The more I see these the more I had wished I had went for one:o
And I could have flaunted my pics in front of Bravado as well:p

Nice....Very Knice!:thumbup:

Hey Guyon, if you get a chance could you tell me the width of the CG SFNO? Curious if it's wider than the originals.
