This outfit has this listing of the Classic Sebenza stating that they will no longer be made in S30V. And that the new models are S21 steel???????? What in pray tell is S21 Steel???? I have never heard of it. He is asking the high price because of this. I sent them a question (Yes I did it nicely:D) I they got a bit defensive.???? Is this true. I looked at CRK site and there is no mention of this.
What gives????

Wow..thats pretty funny. I saw that they had a Sm. Classic listed the same way the other day, only at 430.00, sent them a message and asked if it was a typo? I told them the new Sebenza 21 is still S30V and the only difference was in the handle. They replied and said "Thank You"..I assumed they fixed that listing.

When I asked if they were quite aware of it, They said yes. I guess you could read anything into an e mail but I felt a bit of :mad: to which I say:jerkit:
 
shike, they're full of crap. there is nothing ambiguous about the claims they're making in their auction listing, and they haven't edited it. it's just some douchebag out to make a quick buck off of any folks confused about the introduction of the new 21.
 
Yeah, but said douche bag has about 4,800 transactions on E Bay. Wonder how many people he has ripped off? Anyway, if you check now you will see that he fixed it and even lowered his price. Needless to say I will never buy from him.

Wow..these guys. I see they just posted another Sm. and Lg. Classic Sebenza w/ the marked up prices. Uh..I sent them a nice heads up the first time, this time I will be reporting the auctions.
 
I don't see anything fraudulent in the listing in the OP, unless they changed it. The listing says the new model will be the S21, apparently standing for Sebenza 21, not referring to the type of steel.

If anyone wants to buy a NIB Sebenza before the switch to the new 21 model, they could consider this a collector's item I guess.

What it the fraudulent info everyone is talking about? Did I miss something?

See my post above where I stated that they changed it. After the complaints came in. The original listing had it for $450.00 because it was the only one left made in s30v and that the new steel was S21:rolleyes:

Okay, so they are confused about the steel... and about Engrish.

A reasonable person could probably connect the dots, eh? Maybe, worst-case, you call CRK. No real need to start a thread with 20 question marks about the "clowns".

I guess I am not a reasonable person. Please read the entire thread. He is overcharging under the excuse that it is highly collectable because it is the last of the S30V ( A lie) . He was contacted about it in a nice way and got defensive. After several contacts and being reported to E Bay he lowered the price and ammended the description only to relist another just as before. And, sir, he is not confused. He is a knife dealer for heaven's sake. But you are right about the clowns part. It was bad on my part. There I will correct myself. My apologies
