Two very special knives a good friend of mine recently acquired. I thought they deserved to be shared on the Forum.

Not my cup of tea but I can really appreciate them and sure the owner does. They are of a very high standard of workmanship!

Both are beautiful, but the Fracassi engraving on the second knife is jaw dropping.

Thanks for sharing them here, Paul.

Paul both beautiful

But I am very taken with the second one

Thx for posting

Paul,

Both are very clean with super engraving.

I'm with Joe, I like flow of the Esposito knife better.

Both of these are transcending. Two incredible makers and two equally incredible engravers.

BIG smiles of delight and admiration. :D :D

No photo credit for such fantastic images? For shame.... :(

I don't know anything about this level of knives, but that second one is really something. Unreal.

this is clearly phenomenal work at the very highest level.
it's inspiring to see work of the quality, thank you for posting this.

The photos are from Mitchell Cohen of Prairiedigitalphoto.com.

Emmanuel's knife is his large "Cherokee" model. I have been told that there was 540 hours involved in the completion of the engraving.

While Antonio's knife is equally beautiful , I am less famililiar with the different model's of knives he makes.
Perhap's Signor Fogarizzu can share some of the details with us about this particular knife-model.
Best regards,
Paul

Here i am,
First of all thank you to Mr. Paul for posting ! Second, Emmanuel's knife is amazing, i did not see this one in person , but i Saw many other wich are simply perfects. No words for the engraving, in Italian we Say "it speak by itself",Fracassi is the best.
About my knife this is one of a serie of i square large daggers , designed in this way ,putting all the inlays at the botton of the handle just to have a large room for engraving ,this in particular has a solid gold in the handle and in the blade too.No words for Manrico Torcoli engraving , you can see by yourself how beautiful are!!

what scenes, I really love pieces like these,
thanks for posting, fantastic

The engraving is boss, to be sure, if you dig bullino....I don't.

The knives are not great by just about any measure. Blade to handle ratio? Functionality?

These are platforms for engraving....that has been done to death....what exactly is new or superlative about any of it EXCEPT the exceptional engraving?

Anyone care to take this up, or is it the usual haters and inane commentary?

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson
