I recently obtained an SH-E and liked it so much I also got my hands on a BA-E. I really love the E handles. What other models have the E handles as well? Thanks.

Are the BM-E and the big rat the same sized knives? It looks like the Rat is a bit longer...
Thanks

The Aftershock Bolo also has an E-handle.Tyrkon Lawson said:I recently obtained an SH-E and liked it so much I also got my hands on a BA-E. I really love the E handles. What other models have the E handles as well? Thanks.
Cobalt said:The E-handles are nice and the BA-E and NO-E are really nice because you get a great grip on diamond quilted micarta. However, for heavy chopping that micarta can start to blister the hands. The older smoother handles worked great for extended use. When I have compared my SHBM to my BM-E, I noticed that the performance was similar in the beginning and the BM-E even felt a little better. However, after a hald day of chopping the BM-E was on the deck and the SHBM was still working. If you wear gloves then things even up a bit. But I don't wear gloves unless it is 30 or below.
