I recently obtained an SH-E and liked it so much I also got my hands on a BA-E. I really love the E handles. What other models have the E handles as well? Thanks.

gimmejr,
Are the BM-E and the big rat the same sized knives? It looks like the Rat is a bit longer...
Thanks

The Aftershock Bolo also has an E-handle.

Thanks for the replies guys. I should be receiving my BA-E tomorrow, Friday. I'm sure it will feel great and my obsession for E handle INFI knives will worsen. :o

The E-handles are nice and the BA-E and NO-E are really nice because you get a great grip on diamond quilted micarta. However, for heavy chopping that micarta can start to blister the hands. The older smoother handles worked great for extended use. When I have compared my SHBM to my BM-E, I noticed that the performance was similar in the beginning and the BM-E even felt a little better. However, after a hald day of chopping the BM-E was on the deck and the SHBM was still working. If you wear gloves then things even up a bit. But I don't wear gloves unless it is 30 or below.

30 or below?

Bro you have to drive for a few to get to weather like that here in Cali!

Have to agree that the E handles are very nice to hold and use. I didn't really appreciate them until I got one. Have a BAe now but did have the NOe at one time. So far the BAe is one of my favorite Busses. Wish I had gotten in on the deal on the Exchange. That was a beauty with the polished spine and it sold for a great price. The SHe is next on the wish list, going to have to recover some before even thinking about looking for one, but it'll come...patience, must have patience! :grumpy:

I had forgotten about the game warden. Anyone know how many of them where made? I've only seen the one, of course that would be the one Skunk has!

I think I'll try to score a NO-e next.

As far as chopping goes my SH-e works great and to be honest I don't think I will be doing as much chopping as Cobalt in the land of the frost giants. Perhaps more for prying.

So here I am at work knwing that my BA-e is due to arrive anytime today. For all I know it is out in the cold (California cold) on my door step. Lonely. Unless my pups get to it.

Anyone have a pic of the Warden?

MikeH: are all those No-E's yours? Sweet! Thanks for the pic.

Ergo lineup including the Game Warden! Beautiful eh?

I really like those ZTNO's and wondered

No the handle will be like the FSH. Kinda like a cross between an E-handle and an old Straight Handle. More straight than E-handle IMO.

so i guess alll this, with the size of the FBM it will make for an excellnt chopper.
