hello all!
just ordered 2 mora's from SG today for a little under 20 bucks. they are the wood handled e jonsson version. one with a blade length of 4 3/8 and the other at 3 5/8. i've been reading a little about the mora's lately and thought i'd give these a try. dose anyone have any experience with these? if so, how are they? did i waste my money?

Not familiar with the Jonsson version but IMO Mora's give excellent value for money - often outperforming knives that cost 10x as much. They work best as cutters - can take a bit of batoning but not meant to be used as prybars because of the tang/handle design. Some people consider Mora's to be throwaway knives because they are so inexpensive (not cheap - inexpensive) - treat yours properly and you'll be able to pass them onto your grandkids

I've never heard of E Jonsson. I hope they are the equals of Frosts and Erikson. Those are the two brands everyone is probably talking about when they say Mora.

If they turn out to be crap please blame the seller and not the town of Mora. A Frosts is a GREAT knife.
