well i've had my E.T. for 5 hours before i got to see my blood. really it wasn't bad just a lot of blood from a small cut on the side of my thumb. hardly felt a thing.:D can't get the little disc to play in any thing yet. but i really like this knife! very flat in the pocket.

Try toggling it open and closed with your pinkie.
Just make sure the band-aids are already layed out. ;)

Always be prepared. :D

I had a few of those early on and made a very quick decision to not own any more. I do not posses that kind of coordination. Thomas on the other hand is extremely good at moving an ET, it is something to see.:thumbup:

Yes - Thomas can be quite the performing Monkey.

Did I just type that......was just thinking it....OOPS

:D

Umm, I guess nobody else played the DVD that came with their E.T. It's 20 minutes of Thomas doing his best Cold Steel commercial impersonation, complete with machine gun toting perp cardboard cutouts and heavy metal soundtrack!!

You guys really should check it out!!;)

I haven't handled one yet. Seems to have the "OH!" appeal to it.
It just looks really cool. I wouldn't care if it worked or not,
it doesn't look like any other knife, ever.

As for Craig's comments, THAT'S LOOOOOWWWW!
:D

Sorry, those are not my hands on the DVD. I'm in for doing an advanced techniques Volume II though.

Don't hold your breath.

Yep,....these little man eaters are always looking to take a bit outa ya! :)

..............so in keeping with your "always be prepared" theme,.......i'll share what i do whenever i'm planning on a little Kershaw knifedrudgery.

.......MOST IMPORTANT!!!!....................... always apply a tourniquet on the arm opposite the one holding the knife BEFORE opening your blade.

If you wait until the knife if already open,........it may be TOO late! These buggers are known to be among the sharpest in the industry,.....some say they have a mind of their own,....and have a thirst for BLOOD!

BTW,.....for those of you prone to accidents,.......it might be a good idea to place a tourniquet on each of your thighs also. Femoral arterial bleedout can be quick,......and save for having to release the devise for a short while every couple minutes or so not a problem in my mind.

Just finished watching the video...simply amazing design with more ways to open than I'd realized. It looks so bizarre when stationary that you think This will be way too complicated, but in practice it looks simple to use. I hadn't been interested in one before, but now want one. Arghh...too many knives!

The Hawks are to be commended for such innovative design, and Kershaw for bringing it affordably to us all.

Joe ain't kiddin about the sharpness of the E.T. It is the sharpest out of the box
knife I have ever owned.....wickedly sharp!!
