Chris sent me the handle material for this one, I think it`s called sage. I added yellow liners to set it off. It`s heading out tomorrow!

Contoured handles are now standard on all models except the little pocket models.
 
Wow it looks awsome John, I can't wait. Thanks for being patient with all of my requests and changes. The yellow liners look great, thanks for the suggestion. The contoured handles are great too. I can't wait to get this one out into the woods.

It's funny that the micarta has looked different in every picture I've seen of it (the guy I got it from, John's pics when he got it and now this one), so we'll see what it actually looks like.

I've been lusting after John's knives ever since I started getting more active here at the end of the fall, and I'm glad I got to finally buy one. Hopefully the first JK of many to come.
 
In "real life" they are kind of an off white/grey color. My lousy pic makes them look orange :eek:
 
I've like how they look each time, and I'm sure that I will LOVE the finished project. Glad I'm able to get it in time for my trip to Virginia, hopefully I'll be able to get out to play with it one day while I'm down there.

Thanks again John. I've got a collection jar started for my next order, I'll decide what I want when there's enough in it for an order.
 
I'm at work right now and see that it has been delivered, I can't wait to get home!

Sure do have some! The nice thing about my O1 supplier is if I order it before 2 pm, I have it by 10 am the next day!
 
Lets see, a Knife with the lenght of blade of the hiker, the shape of the blade like the Hiker backup, in 1/16th 01, 1 1/4 inches tall with a 4 1/2 inch Red Micarta handle with black liners. solid pins with Lanyard hole. Flatt ground, Would that thing slice or what.
