I was wondering if anyone has bought this knife? https://www.kabar.com/p/1217EWS

It is a limited edition but it has been available for over 10 years now still some left. I wonder how many are left, or even how many were actually made. Was limited to 350, but that doesn’t mean they made them all.

Also does anyone have an actual WW2 Stone knife? Or any other WW2 blade with a period cast handle?

Thanks

I don't have one, am not aware of anyone I know who has one.
I have only seen them in the case at Blade.
I know there have been a couple of variations on the theme, but don't know if they modded some of the original 350 or if they did more limited runs.

There are not many left. We knew it would take a while to sell, but wanted to honor the story and heritage. Eugune Stone's son, Bill, worked on all of these and used his Father's original mold. I have one in the case at my house - pretty neat conversation piece.

Can you imagine the enemy seeing that? Pretty obvious it's not for opening crates of C-rats (although they probably did).
US soldiers didn't run around terrorizing helpless captives with skulls and crossbones on uniforms..they put a deaths head right on a knife to make things perfectly clear.
Cool factor is off the charts and a great piece of history.
