I picked up this blue micarta knife at a local flea market today, I know nothing about it except it is a beautiful knife and feels great in the hand, the tang stamp is “E White” and reverse side is stamped “018”, Google has some Eddie White custom made knives that look similar but I’m not sure if that’s right or not, anyway just thought I would bring it to the experts and see if anyone had any knowledge or input on it. Thanks in advance.

Give it a shot as a utility knife and let us know it does, I would be interested to see a review of it after some good use. Most of all, have fun using it.

Eddy White used to post knives for sale here under the trade name of Shadow Knives. Bought a few from him, good value user knives. If I remember correctly, Eddy used 440C predominantly. Apparently, Eddy was a knife maker employed by various other knife makers/brands. When he decided to set out on his own, he named his business Shadow Knives because he had made some many knives in his lifetime, working in the shadows of other persons/entities. I am afraid that Eddy may have passed on, he was not a young man when he was a presence here. Have not heard about him for years and his web page is not active any more. Would love to hear that Eddy is still alive and grinding.
