When you guys carry your SF, do you guys lock-out the tail cap? I got the clicky tail cap too, so it's super sensitive. It would be pretty embarrassing if came on in class. :o

I carry a SF E2-e HA and have no concerns over the sensitivity of the tailcap switch.......just unscrew it a bit beyond where the two dots are adjacent to each other and it will require more pressure to close the pushbutton switch!
No problem as I see it....maybe someone will tell me what it is I'm missing here?!?!

i turn mine till ya can push down on the button and it doesnt come on if i carry it in a pocket, the lite gets hot enough to burn your pants/ car seat /whatever it comes in contact with, dont ask how i know that lol.

Daytime I lock out the tailcap. Nightime I don't.

I dont know why I bother though since I EDC the E2D and it has that portion that covers the tail cap anyway.

right if i carry the E2D i never turn it off, i dont think they would accidently come on, the E2e is another matter though imho.

I carry my E2e-HA in a belt holster. It doesn't sit at the bottom of the holster, so I don't worry about it turning on accidentally.

When I carried it loose in my coat pocket, I did worry about it, because it did come on once when I was not expecting it. Here's the compromise: If nighttime, it was in push-button mode. If daytime, it was in lock-out mode, unless I was going to be using it for some reason, then I put it in push-button mode.

I do the same thing. I keep it in my front pocket along with my mission wallet and have not had any trouble with it turning on.
