I don't follow the E2E group too much, but someone sent me a link to one of their podcasts (see below). At first, I didn't think much of it, but it seems that they don't like the way that the Busse Company runs or handles their booth at Blade show. I am not surprised because most successful business have their opponents. However, what bothered me the most was that they implied that the enthusiasm for the product was greater than the product itself or that the product was questionable. The brief commentary starts at 1 minute and 47 seconds and runs to 3 minutes and 39 seconds. Maybe I took it wrong but you can listen to it yourself.

I definitely got that impression too, seems they feel the excitement over what's offered at the booth is unwarranted……

I gotta tell you though, I was yelling like a wild man when they were tossing out cards for these knives at the booth this year……… ;)

Certainly sounded like sour grapes. At least the one guy admitted as much when he said if it was his booth he would be all for the noise.

I know I spent way more time at the tables next to Busse than I would have spent had those other sellers been anywhere else in the room.

They should change the name of that podcast to "TOOL Shed".

Isn't "Equip2Endure" just one guy with a YTube channel who refers to himself as "we" in homemade self shot tripod videos and takes himself way too seriously? Not shocked that humor, fun, or excitement would have no place in his knife universe.

I remember watching this idiot do a comparison of several knives that included a Busse. It was so obvious in his chopping and testing that he didn't put the same effort into the Busse blade that he did with the others it was ridiculous. Then he made a point to talk trash about the Busse knife. It is very obvious he has a vested interest in other brands. This guy is so full of $H!T his breath stinks.

3:00 to 3:30 Funniest thing I've heard in a long time especially @ 3:25 "Apparently the product can't stand by itself". Really? LMAO!

Guys lets not turn this into a bashing session. Everyone is entitled to there opinion. Lets grab a drink and try to remember how much fun Blade show was.

Wow just ...wow.

I did like this one quote but I don't know which of the two guests said it....."I think that sort of behavior is repugnant and inexcusable right up to the point when I'm that popular and then it seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to me."

Hahaha, that'd be Dan Eastland. Rob and Dan always crack me up on that show. Dig those guys perspective. I'm just glad I got one of his blades before this podcast and youtube start backing up his orders.

CA is the 8th largest economy on earth. Its more complex than wrong thinking people only being the problem. As much as these guys bash Californians, they sure sound like a few to me.

I would say don't feed the haters.

Meh.
Just unhappy they can't command that kind of response...

Let the yelling and happy hogness continue unimpeded... :D

Now that's better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I've seen a vid of Adam from E2E in which he talks about a Busse knife that a friend lent him. He's made a vid about the Fusion Steel Heart and another on the Badger Attack. He had nothing but praise for the BA except for price and lack of sheath. The FSH he also gave high marks to. Price and lack of sheath is what he disliked. Adam is into smaller, bush crafting knives. He finds those more appropriate in that role. He has gradually, changed to liking the thinner blades. He does go on to say that the FSH is a great jack of all trades.

Those vids are easy to find on YouTube ..... At least he doesn't fault the product.....
