Eagle Airborne pack?

I've been looking for a pack and don't really like the large ones with frames (int or ext). Eagle makes a mid size (I think about 3000cu inches if you count all the accessory panels, pouches, etc.) pack without a frame. It's about $199 at www.lightfighter.com

Anyone have experience with these? When I go to the field, I travel light with usually just a sleeping bag, tent, and mat (only if it's cold), couple of gallons of water, and food. Hot weather, it's the goretex bivy sack and mat (along with basic neccessities).
Is it possible to take trips up to 5 days with such a small pack? Anyone ever use this pack? Thanks
