Eagle sheath - is it avalible on its own

I was wondering whether the Eagle sheath with the RC-5 might be avalible on its own - would like to sort myself one for my RC-4. I'm not a big fan of the spec ops one the belt attachments annoy me far too much.
 
yeah, I've never been able to find it by itself in my searching. I don't even know if a call to Eagle would help since they are on such a back order in trying to keep up with demand on the RC5
 
If you don't like Spec Ops, you might want to contact Semper Paratus Tactical. They make sheaths for Busse's, I'm sure they could make one to fit a Rat.
 
maybe easier to go Spec-ops combat master sheath short version and be ready to go ...Eagle sheath are a tad hard to get,Spec -ops are fantastic sheaths Too

Any particular reason or just not your taste?
 
I bought four RC-5's with different colored sheaths. It is nice to have more than one.

My favorite sheath other than the Eagle one's, which you can't buy direct, are the Spec Ops Combat Master. It looks like Spec Ops may be have already or are soon halting production on the Combat Master. They are becoming harder to find. It would be wise to pick up a few before the only option is the Exchange or Ebay.
 
I've owned the Spec Ops sheaths in the past and never got on with them didn't like the belt loops nor the retention strap - their price over here at £45+ also puts me off a tad
 
You might want to look at these two at BTI Tactical, there is one for 7" & one for 5.5" knives that are closer to the Eagle without the belt loops of the Spec Ops by Airborne Delx.

Not too bad a price either.

Additionally, Scrap Yard Knife Works has a 6" and a 10" that look pretty nice for the money,

cheers Isheldon had a look at those airbourne ones before IIRC they are by Blackhawk - will get the chance to look at one at the weekend and check the RC4 will fit
 
well I've placed an order for an airbourne as it seems to fit the bill but having done a thourough search I'm quite taken by the Cordura droplegs with kydex sheaths, so much so I've designed my own, will mock it up with one of my spare kydex IZula sheaths and if the concept works get one made up for my RC4.
