I traded for a MS this weekend and the sheath is an Eagle nylon with a kydex liner. The kydex seems to be lined with a felt/velvet material. Makes for a quiet removal and no scratches on the blade. Did all the early Eagles sheaths have this 'soft' kydex liner?

i believe you might have one of the early cowdex sheaths. some have been found with the softer less marring interior, before they were made totally of kydex. hang on to it and don't let these infi sharks talk you out of it!
